The Blog Project. #5

the ever so JEJE ICA-XS COs '11-12
okay. I'm not fond of all of the male officers. :| In fact, I'm actually pissed at some of them. But, no matter how weird they are or annoying, or awkward, or disturbing, they still made our last MAJOR duty really memorable! I'd really like to thank them SO SO SO MUCH for making my last major duty as a cadette officer something that I'll surely never forget. Even if at first I was doubting their capabilities in making this duty really successful, I'm glad that it turned out well. Actually, better than "well". More like one of the BEST major duties ever. That's the main reason why I'll KINDA miss them when I go off to college. But I think, I'll miss the duty MORE than I'll miss them. I might not even miss them at all...haha. kidding! I'm really glad that this bunch turned out to be out counterparts. Even if they're not as sociable as us, they still tried to be sociable and friendly.

The Blog Project. #3 & #4

Sorry if I wasn't able to post yesterday! :( I was out the whooole daaaay, so I had no chance to blog. :( Sooo, to make up for my absence yesterday, I shall post 2 posts under "The Blog Project" today! :)
So, for The Blog Project. #3 we have,
My Charity 'Kada. <3
The past 2 years have been an amazing roller coaster ride with these lovely ladies! :) Without them, my high school life would surely be a blah. I'll really miss these faces when I go off for college! I'll surely miss playing UNO or Monopoly Deal, photoshoot-ing, invading planners, formulating pick-up lines, and passing post-its, with this bunch. :(

Next up!
for The Blog Project. #4, we have,
My First Year class 'kada. :)
These beautiful girlaloos really made the start of my High School really memorable! :) What's even more amazing about it is that, we make it a point that at least once a year, we meet up at Louise's (2nd girl from the left) or go to Promenade (mall located somewhere in Greenhills). Another amazing thing we do is whenever all of us are invited to a certain event, like a debut or a party, we TRY to make it a point to take a picture together. We still try to keep our friendship really strong despite the other barkadas we have. I'll surely miss KS-ing (kwento session-ing; gossiping, catching-up, etc.), watching concerts, and just chilling with these girlaloos. :)

The Blog Project.

I've been thinking.
I've only got less than a month of "normal school days" before our final examination. :( huhuhu. I'll surely miss my school and everything that's in it! :)) The facilities, the teachers, the classrooms, maintenance staff, security guards, my friends, classmates, org-mates, EVERYTHING!!! Even the food, breakfast, snacks, even the stray cats wandering around our school and preying on the garbage cans. Leaving the school that has nurtured you for quite some time is something really hard to leave behind. That's why, I've come up with a solution! :) I was actually inspired by my friend, Kim, who started making this album on Facebook entitled, "Reasons why I'll miss HS". :) So starting today until March. 24, 2012, which is my graduation day, I shall post a picture that I'll miss in High School when I leave for college. I'll really try my best to post DAILY! I'll super try! :))) HAHA.
So, for my first post...
*taken during the Freshmen Interaction thing-o in Xavier*
My EVERY LOVING, EVERY SUPPORTIVE, ONE-OF-A-KIND, GAY, CAT SISTUUUHS, KAPISANAN <3
We're not complete here though. :( HUHUHU. Anyway, I really love this bunch! I wouldn't be able to survive CAT and High School life if it weren't for these lovely people! Through hardships and trials, our bond was really put to the test and I'm glad that by the end of the day, our bond became stronger than ever. For 3 years I've spent my CAT life with them and I wouldn't trade that for ANYTHING in the world. I'll surely miss them when we go off for college. :(

Where to Begin...

So, Where to Begin?
Like what I said in my previous post, it's been approximately 2 months since I've last posted and I seriously do not know where to begin. A lot of things happened in a span of 2 months. Let's start with what happened last November. :)
So, last November, I had my 18th birthday. (Pictures to be posted as soon as possible). :) It was fun, really! Though it was sort of awkward when the spotlight's on YOU THE WHOLE TIME and people glance at you every 10 minutes or so. So I had to smile the WHOOOOLE time. But I didn't really force myself to smile the whole time, I think I was just naturally happy that's why my cheek muscles didn't hurt the next day. So a few days after my debut, we had our field trip at Gawad Kalinga (Photos to be posted soon as well) with Faith, Solidarity and Sobriety. That was the FIRST TIME I've ever painted a house! EVER!!!!! and it was SUPER FUUUUN!!! Except when there are bugs blocking the parts I have to paint on or when paint suddenly splatters on our faces. :))) A week after that, we had our class night+Aimee's 18 birthday. The Class Night was truly memorable. It was one of those days that I realized how much I'm going to miss my class, Charity and that in a few months I'll be graduating already and go off to college. :( (Photos to be posted soooon. ;) ) Aimee's debut was fun as well! Though I was sort of sleepy throughout the entire debut because I slept REALLY LATE because of the class night. :)) But I still managed to have a really great time at Aimee's party. :)
After that comes December. :)
Last December wasn't as festive as compared to November but it was magical in a sense that I really felt the Christmas spirit that year. We had our annual Christmas party and sadly it was our last. :( HUHUHUHU. After which we went straight to Eastwood and then to Aina's house for Mari's belated birthday surprise then the next day, I went to Rache's house for her birthday treat at Ace Water Spa with Jem, Ge, Wong and Ting. A few days after, Me, Ge, Jem, Wong, Ting, Rache, Irben and Hans went to Eastwood for Rache and Jem's surprise and of course Rache's ball proposal to Ban-ban but unfortunately, Ban-ban didn't make it, so Rache had to ask through phone but with a twist. :)) Like all 8 of us had a specific phrase to say until Rache will pop the question "Will you go to ball with me?". I forgot exactly what each of us said, but it was continuous and it actually made sense! :)
After days of boredom and wrecking my notebook comes January. :)
January has a lot of surprises...and still yet to come (or so I think)! It was when ALL OF THE CETs were released! First came UST, but then it turned out it was a leak, so it wasn't really official. So the legit one that came out first was La Salle and they released the results while in the middle of our English class, which was like around 11:30. :)) So all of my classmates/ batchmates who took the DLSU-CET ran to the library or to the guidance counselor's office to check if they passed La Salle. The after that, came THE ACET. :)) Then the USTet, then finally the UPCAT, which sadly, I failed to pass. :( Huhuhu. But that's alright! :) At least I have a college alreaddddyyy! :) (UE, here I come. ;) ). Oh! before that, We had our last major duty as COs. :( HUHUHU. and it turned out to be the FUN-EST and most memorable duty everrr! Not because there were guys there, but it was when I saw everybody from the COs up to the COC 3s how happy they are in their duty. :) We also met a couple of new people too! :)) Like our XS counterparts and their NCOs and COCs. Even though we met our counterparts months before the actual duty, it was only on that day that I really got to know them more. We even had a "CAT COED *JEJE*" picture together (Which I shall post soon) :) We also had our retreat at MaryHill in Taytay! :) (details and photos soon since it's suppose to be kept a secret until everybody in our batch was able to have their retreat already) :) Haha. I also had my Talumpati already! :) And Extemporaneous speech! It was scarrrrry as hell. But fortunately, it turned out well. :)
Well, that's what happened to me in the 2 months I've been gone. :)) I promise to post pictures sooon! :)) HAHAHA. and I'll try to post more often compared to last year. :)) HAHAHHAA.
Cheers to the months ahead. :)

SHOOTER ISLAND

poster I made for my class' fair booth. :)

So this year's school fair is entitled: SILVER SCREEN. So, basically it's a movie themed fair for this school year. I'm pretty excited about this! The sad part though is that this will be my last fair as a student in ICA. :( UUUUGH :< Being a senior is really tough, not only academically, but physically, emotionally and most of the time, MENTALLY! :))
So going back to the fair, this year my class, IV- Charity, has a fair booth called: SHOOTER ISLAND. :)
The game goes like we'll be giving you loads of paper-mached popcorn. Some are burnt and some are buttered. Now, your goal is to put the buttered ones in the popcorn tumbler and the burnt ones in the trash can. As simple as that! What makes our booth unique are our PRIZES. :) :> hihihihi.
Well, that's all I can spoil for now. ;) Can't wait to post about the fair, etc. :)

Blast from the past. INTRAMS past. ;(

Here are just some of the pictures from the past intrams. :( DANG!!!! :< I'll surely miss this when I head off to college. :< The vibe, the tension the EVERYTHING. This is the only event in my life where "tension", "stress" and "heart-stopping moments" are the most happiest feelings ever. :)

I'll surely miss all of the times when I ran out of voice, or when my heart starts to beat super fast. :))) :<

INTRAMS 2011. Gotta Party like its 2012.

Like what I mentioned in my previous post, We recently had our annual INTRAMURALS! :)
Last Wednesday, October. 12, 2011, the 'gods' were in our side as we bagged over-all champions in the said event. It was a close close SUPER CLOSE match between Zenith (Seniors) and Xyrene (Juniors) as they go neck in neck in order to be"crowned" as this year's over-all champions.

Being inside the court wasn't as fun as it looks like. You can actually feel the "intense-ness" of the game. I was the one in-charge of the court during the last game, which was the Zenith vs. Xyrene game, and OMG IT WAS SO INTENSE!!! Every time the scores tie-up, my heart suddenly stops beating. IT WAS THAT INTENSE!!!!!! But in the end, we bagged the championships! :) WOOHOOOOOO! So here are some of the pictures I took from that event.
Sorry if they're so grainy...:< I used the wrong settings. :< :|

Zenith, cheering their hearts out. <3
GOT FAITH. ;)

FLASH MOB! :) Dancing to 2012. ;)

Love is Louder// Seniors' Surprise

THIS is SUCH A LATE LATE LATE POST :(
I've been busy lately with entrance tests and other school requirements, etc. ;))
So, last September. 23, 2011 other than the most awaited INTRAMURALS, my org., SASS (Social Action Student Staff), had a LTS (Leadership Training Seminar) which was lead by the Ateneo CODE.
So we had to sleep in school and stuff. :)) So during our movie night. The younger members of my org. suddenly came out of the stage with candles and cupcakes and stuff while they're singing "Just the way you are" by Bruno Mars. :)) Here are some of the pictures from the surprise. :))
YUM YUM YUM cupcakes btw! :)) Plus, the candles that they used were those kinds of candles that when you blow it, it will ignite again. :))) I did like 5 blows before I COMPLETELY BLEW THE FLAME OUT. :)) Silly but worth it. :)
We had another surprise though. In the morning, at around 5 am-ish. :)) Kaye, one of my co-org. mate, sang in a superrrr LOUD LOUD LOOOOUD MANNER "WHO RUN THE WORLD, GIRLS?" and she repeated it 5x until us, Seniors, woke up. :)) So what happened was, they made us line up. Then whe she and someone opened the door, I can see candles like they're some sort of path way leading somewhere. Then while we were following the path way, there were people throwing flowers at us and stuff (it's as if we're newly weds. :))) So yeah, then the path lead to some sort of a circle. Then we were like inside a circle of candles while the NOT-SENIORS members were like singing "Perfect", and another song. While they were singing, each of them were handling out a box+a balloon to the senior assigned to them. :) The balloon looks like this:
sorry if it ain't clear. hahha so anyway, yeah. Afterwards we were lead to the "movie time area" to watch this clip they made for us and stuff. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that they gave us fake tiaras and stuff. ;)) SO CUTE! :)))
so yeah! basically that was it! :))
I really had fun at the LTS with SASS. We have another sleepover coming soon. :) If I'm not mistaken I think it's a recollection this time. :) haha. Ohwell, I hope it pushes through thooough. <3 ;)
LOVE IS LOOOOUDER <3

Surprise, Surprise!

Last, September. 23, 2011, We planned a surprise dinner party celebration for one of my super-awesome-gay-loving-oh-so-bongga-friend, Aina! :) <3
Aina thought it was just a regular GNO/ window shopping session with me, Justine and Candice, but turned out that there's more than that :>
So, we had to stall Aina while the rest prepare the resto where the surprise will be held. After hours of tummies grumbling and stalling Aina, we finally went to the resto. :))
The food is DIVINE BTW! :))) HAHA (I shall post a separate post about that. :>)
I really really really love surprises! :) Though, I prefer organizing the surprise than actually being surprised. :))
So, anyway, here are some the pictures that were taken that day.
LEMME JUST SAY, I LOVE MOST OF THESE LOVELYLADIES. <3
Happy Birthday, Aina! :)
Hope you have a truly awesome one ;)
You won't be seventeen forever ;) :> Spend it wisely. ;)

(c) Mari for the photos. :) Edited by me ;) (GOTTA LOVE ACTIONS <3)

Make Way for the Zenith!

It's that time of the year again when the freshmen, sophomore, juniors and SENIORS all gather in the DTASC. This is year the freshmen are called Zepheus, the sophomores- Phoenix, the juniors- Xyrene, and the last but not the least, the SENIORS- ZENITH! <3 YESSSSSSS! WOOHOOO! Senior Swag, yo! ;) Here are just some of the DPs that my batchmates prepared for the intrams. :)

WOOHOO FOR BATCH SPIRIT! :>

The intramurals will truly be one of the school events that I'll miss. I just love the atmosphere that the intrams gives out. People cheering their hearts out, being united and all. :) Here are some of the pictures of the previous intramurals. ;)

no.1

So, a few days back, my mom and her friends celebrated their birthday at the "CHILD HAUS". Its a place where kids with cancer from various provinces stay while they're on treatment. :(
What my mom and her friends, and I did was we fed the kids and their parents some food (since its a birthday) and just had fun with them. :) They even sang us 2-3 songs as a "welcoming gift" to us. <3

I'm really touched by the lives of these kids. Despite their disease, they still managed to have fun and sing in front of us. :)
This experience really made me realize that I'm lucky to have such a blessed and healthy life and hopefully in the future I get to come back there with some of the kids already well from their sickness. :)
